Placements

Students who successfully qualify for a placement will be supported by the management team and will initially work with three adult clients.  If you are interested in working with young people, CPCAB endorsed training is available to enable you to fulfil the BACP competencies required to work withyoung people. All counsellors (qualified and in training) work under supervision which is provided free of charge.

We are accepting placement applications from the 1st of January 2025

Applications

Applicants are rigorously assessed before placements are offered.

You will need to live within 1 hour’s travel of any one of our counselling centres (Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead).

You will be required to submit a 50 minute recording of a counselling session (most usually with a fellow student/colleague) as part of our recruitment process; this will be explained fully at interview.

We work in a predominantly person-centred way although all humanistic approaches will be considered.

If you’d like to ring for an informal chat and to ask questions before applying, please feel free to call Damon Hall on 07971 223147.
