Please complete the online form below to put yourself on our waiting list.

We are asking you to share some information about your current situation and your reasons for seeking counselling.

We aim to make our service as inclusive as possible, and our counsellors are trained to support clients with a wide range of difficulties.

There might be times when, having reviewed the information on your referral form, we might consider that Number 22 is not the right service to meet your needs at this time. In those circumstances, we will do our best to suggest alternative options for support.

Client contributions

With a huge demand from adults requesting counselling at Number 22 and limited funding available to support this work, we request a financial contribution from adult clients so that we can continue to provide this service.

This does not affect young people up to the age of 25, where fundraising and council/NHS funding covers the cost.

Contributions are not payment for individual sessions, but a contribution towards the counselling service as a whole. Contributions are requested weekly during the first 12 weeks of counselling.

Contributions as follows:

Gross individual annual earnings Contribution per week
less than £20,000 £5
£20,001 to £35,000 £10
over £35,000 £20

Weekly contributions will be set up at the time of booking. We will be asking for contribution from all clients, however subsidised places will be available in exceptional circumstances

Please fill in the below form to be added to our adult (+18) waiting list. For those living in the Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead areas only

Attendance and cancellations

Counselling sessions are offered on a weekly basis.

We understand that there may be times when you are unable to attend a planned session. If you need to cancel, we ask that you inform your counsellor at least 24 hours in advance, wherever possible.

Contributions are non-refundable. Where sessions are missed, we will aim to offer a replacement session where possible, provided this takes place within a maximum counselling period of 15 weeks (covering the 12 sessions).
